PACE yourself encourages patients and supportors of cardiac rhythm devices (i.e. pacemakers, defibrillators, etc) to live an active, healthy, and even competitive lifestyle. The group will try to unite its members by local geographies to meet for walk/runs, cycling rides, hikes, triathalons, or any other activity suggested.
Meet other local people who are interested in walking for fitness and for protecting the beauty of our open spaces. This walking group is unique. We all use our Green Boot iPhone Pedometers (downloaded from iTunes) and put our walking to good use. Picnic Dash Productions coordinates fun running events in Golden Gate Park that sponsor the Brighter Sky Foundation, a nonprofit that places social workers in public schools with high dropout rates.
